Marc Fienberg – Co-Founder/Producer
Marc Fienberg is an award winning screenwriter, director, and feature film producer, and is one of the Co-Founders of Story Films. He wrote, directed, and produced Play The Game starring Andy Griffith and Doris Roberts. The film was released theatrically on almost 300 screens, played over 6 months earning more than $650,000 in box office revenue, and was one of the top 3 independently distributed features of the year. Marc’s film Sunday Morning premiered nationwide on the Comcast Network. He has also directed several short films and spec television commercials.
Prior to starting Story Films, Marc had a successful track record developing and marketing new businesses and products at high-tech start-up ventures and Fortune 500 companies, including Microsoft and Fruit of the Loom. Marc earned a B.B.A. in marketing from the University of Michigan, and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Eva J. Gordon – Co-Founder/Producer
Eva J. Gordon is an award winning producer, and is one of the Co-Founders of Story films. She Executive Produced Play The Game starring Andy Griffith and Doris Roberts. The film was released theatrically on almost 300 screens, played over 6 months earning more than $650,000 in box office revenue, and was one of the top 3 independently distributed features of the year. She leads the development of Story Films’ “Fill the Theaters” initiative, focused on developing projects that raise awareness and funds for women’s empowerment issues and charities. Eva’s responsibilities include development of new projects, casting, line producing, finance, and investor relations.
Eva got her start in scientific research and pharmaceutical discovery, working to cure breast cancer at companies like the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation and Infinity Pharmaceuticals. Eva received her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Michigan, her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin, and was a Damon Runyon-Walter Winchell Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School.
